bleached w. age. Tail glossy blue-
black. Short conical bill. Ssp dalyi
is slightly larger than nominate cinerea, has larger bill, is darker
& more streaked above & has paler grey crissum. Harsh chattering, highly
social. Ground forager.
Arid & semi-arid woodlands. Always close to water.
