Notes: Closely related to Brown
Thornbill but has yellowish-white iris, fine cream scalloping on
forehead,
fainter breast streaking. It is smaller, paler colouration overall than Atherton Scrubwren
and Large-billed Scrubwren with their red iris. Juvenile duller plumage than adult. Confined to
tropical rainforest above
400 m. Mainly in foliage of outer canopy, sometimes lower.
