Notes: Like White-throated Honeyeater w. distinctive black cap & black bill and white
nape-band. Bare skin above eye is orange-red. Juvenile: much duller overall, top of
head & hindneck brown; bill dull orange, black increasing w. age, gape swollen & orange.
Common in eucalypt forests. Voice: 'slerp, slerp' foraging; incessant 'chip'.
