Notes: Plumage entirely black with glossy metallic green & purple iridescence. Heavy black bill.
Eye large, bulging, brilliant red. Immature whitish below w. dark streaks; red eye. Juvenile: dark
brown tones to glossy upperparts; whitish below w. profusion of broad dark streaks; eye dark,
changing to buff, yellow, orange before red immature. Large flocks. In forests, parks, gardens.
