Notes: Small forest bowerbird. Adult male unmistakable: bill,
iris dark to yellow with age; bright
yellow primaries & secondaries, &
brighter yellow crown to mantle; often washed darker flame-
scarlet on forecrown.
Female light brown w. scalloping on back, breast; iris dark brown, bill black-
grey.
Forages mainly in canopy of rainforests/wet sclerophyll forests on fruits, flowers,
insects.
Bower small, open, decorated in the avenue .
